Data Conversations is an international collaborative project co-funded by the EU’s Creative Europe programme, running from March 2025 to November 2027. The project aims to enhance the social and economic impact of the cultural and creative sectors by developing innovative approaches to data collection and use, assessing the impact of cultural activities, and applying digital technologies and artificial intelligence. Dr Aleksandra Uzelac is a member of the Data Conversations Project Advisory Board.
As part of the project activities, a ten-day artistic residency entitled Transform Data into Impact was held in Pisa from 1 to 10 October 2026, bringing together ten young artists and creative professionals from different European countries.
During the residency, Dr Uzelac delivered a lecture entitled “From Data to Impact: Rethinking Value in Cultural and Creative Projects”, focusing on understanding cultural value and developing more holistic approaches to assessing the social impact of cultural and creative projects.
