In the new issue of IRMO aktualno, Dr. Paško Bilić provides an overview of critical evaluations of European digital transformation public policies. Discursive expectations, legitimized by projections and statistical indicators, mobilize political processes and public and private investments. However, the process of social transformation is uncertain and risky and cannot be reduced to technological solutions and economic predictions. It needs to be seen in the context of European interests in the international political economy, private and public interests in the European and national space, changes in work, and modern everyday life.
