In the latest issue of IRMO Aktualno, Dr. Paško Bilić, the associate on the CULTMED project, provides an overview of critical evaluations of public policies related to the European digital transformation. Discursive expectations, legitimized through projections and statistical indicators, drive political processes and mobilize public and private investments. However, the process of social transformation is uncertain and risky, and it cannot be reduced to technological solutions and economic forecasts. It must be considered within the context of European interests in the international political economy, private and public interests within European and national domains, changes in labor, and contemporary everyday life.
