IRMO researcher participated at 4th DARIAH-HR International Conference ‘Digital Humanities & Heritage: Legacy and Innovation’

Dr Aleksandra Uzelac participated in the 4th DARIAH-HR International Conference ‘Digital Humanities & Heritage: Legacy and Innovation’ held in Split from 9th until 11th October 2024. The conference has been co-organized by the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research, Zagreb; the University of Split, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; Literary Circle Split; University of Rijeka, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; University of Zadar, Department of Information Sciences; ICARUS Croatia and around 70 participants from Croatia and other European countries took part in it.

Dr Uzelac intervention on ‘Navigating Digital Cultural Policy: Croatia’s Position in the European Context’, was held as part of the session entitled Ethical and Educational Considerations in Digital Humanities. In addition, a poster entitled ‘The Value of Heritage for Sustainable Development and How to Evaluate It: SoPHIA Model’ co-authored by Aleksandra Uzelac, Sanja Tišma, and Sunčana Franić has also been presented.
